Jailer starring Rajinikanth in the lead is a Tamil action comedy that released in theaters on August 10, 2023. Following a Rs. 600 Cr+ box office rampage worldwide, the movie has now made its OTT premiere on Amazon Prime Video. Jailer is currently streaming on the platform in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada languages with English subtitles. 

Written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer comes with a runtime of 163 minutes and follows the story of a retired jailer named Tiger Muthuvel Pandian. How this central character whose son is a diligent cop investigating idol smuggling mafia, is forced to return to his violent ways forms the rest of the story.
