Jailer Showcase - which is the first teaser/trailer of upcoming Rajinikanth starrer is out now, and the star actor has been unleashed in a never before seen avatar as a retired cop named Tiger Muthuvel Pandian. Jailer's plot-leak a few days ago had left little to imagination for the film. Despite the same, the Jailer showcase video puts up the required amp needed for the movie's worldwide release on August 10, 2023, without any official reveals. 

Also starring Ramya Krishnan, Vinayakan, Vasanth Ravi, Mirnaa Menon, Kannada star Shivarajkumar, Bollywood's Jackie Shroff, Telugu actor Sunil, Tamannaah Bhatia, Yogi Babu and Malayalam star Mohanlal in a cameo, Jailer is censored U/A and comes with a runtime of 168. 59 minutes i.e. 2 hours 48 minutes 59 seconds. The movie written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is a production venture of Sun Pictures and has Vijay Karthik Kannan for cinematography, Anirudh for music.
