Maaveeran starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead is a political action fantasy, written and directed by Madonne Ashwin. The movie released in theaters on July 14, 2023 and has Bharath Sankar for music. A video song from the film titled Scene Ah Scene Ah is now out, with the number crooned by Anirudh and lyrics penned by Kabilan and CM Lokesh. 

Maaveeran revolves around a comic artist Sathya, who is a coward for violence. Sathya, his sister Raji (Monisha Blessy) and his widowed mother (Saritha) along with other slum-dwellers are made to relocate to a multi-storey apartment as part of a government scheme.

Sathya’s mother Eshwari keeps revolting against the contractor, while her son keeps telling her to ‘adjust’. This song Scene Ah Scene Ah showcases how they reconcile for a brief moment, and his mother accepts the apartment as their own for the first time. A Shanthi Talkies production, Maaveeran also released in Telugu as Mahaveerudu. The movie also stars Aditi Shankar, Mysskin, Yogi Babu among others.
