Kanguva starring actor Suriya in the lead is an upcoming production venture of Studio Green, UV Creations, and the movie is touted to be the lead star's costliest budget film yet. A fictional story set in an 18th century imaginary world 1500 years ago, Kanguva refers to a man with the power of fire and is written, directed by Siva. 

The latest update about the film is that on the occasion of Suriya's birthday i.e July 23, the makers are planning to release a promo video from the film; however it's unconfirmed whether the promo will be a making video like behind-the-scenes (BTS), or a song featuring the star. What has been confirmed now is that fans of actor Suriya will get a visual treat for sure, on the Sunday of next week.
