Previously it was announced that the entire overseas release of Rajinikanth's upcoming movie Jailer, is via Ayngaran International. Latest update is that in USA, the movie will be released by Prime Media on a grand scale. An official announcement on the same is expected tomorrow i.e. July 12, 2023.

Jailer's USA distribution deal is said to have been sold for a massive price - higher than recent Tamil movies besides the Ponniyin Selvan films. It is worth mentioning here that among the Tamil movie stars, Rajinikanth has a track record of raking solid box-office numbers in the US.
