The first single from actor Rajinikanth's upcoming movie Jailer is titled Kaavaalaa and the song composed by Anirudh will release on July 6, 2023 [Thursday]. Kaavaalaa has lyrics by Arunraja Kamaraj and the song is picturized on Jailer's female lead Tamannaah Bhatia. The promo video unveiled also reveals that Kaavaalaa will have a mix of Tamil and Telugu lyrics. 

Written and directed by Nelson, Jailer is scheduled to release in theaters on August 10, 2023. The movie is a production venture of Sun Pictures.
