Maaveeran/Mahaveerudu is an upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead and the movie had its official trailer release today in both languages. Scheduled to release in theaters on July 14, 2023, Maaveeran/Mahaveerudu is written and directed by National award winning Madonne Ashwin of Mandela (2021) fame. 

An idea-based fantasy film surrounding the life of a comic played by Sivakarthikeyan, Maaveeran/Mahaveerudu also stars Aditi Shankar, Mysskin, Yogi Babu, Saritha, Telugu actor Sunil, among others. The movie is a production venture of Shanthi Talkies.

Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies is presenting the film in Tamil Nadu, with Saregama holding audio rights, Sun TV (Tamil), Gemini TV (Telugu) satellite and Amazon Prime Video OTT rights.
