Actor Rajinikanth's upcoming action thriller Jailer which is written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, produced by Sun Pictures and features Tamannaah Bhatia as the female lead, is scheduled to release in theaters on August 10, 2023.  The post production works of the movie is progressing in full swing. Actors Vinayakan and Shivarajkumar recently completed dubbing for the film.

Superstar Rajinikanth, who recently completed his portion of shoot for Laal Salaam, is expected to complete the dubbing for Jailer next week. Jailer's first single will be out on July first week. Anirudh Ravichander has composed music for the film.
