The movie with Anirudh for music is gearing up for a first single release. Touted to be a film surrounding prison and its inmates, Jailer is a multi-starrer with names like Tamannaah Bhatia, Kannada star Shivarajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, Telugu actor Sunil, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, Yogi Babu, Jaffer Sadiq, Mirna Menon, G. Marimuthu, Namo Narayana, master Rithvik, Mahanadi Shankar, Saravanan, Bigg Boss fame Nisha among others in it.

A Sun Pictures production, Jailer is scheduled to release in theaters on August 10, 2023 [Thursday] for the Independence day weekend.
