Ayalaan starring Sivakarthikeyan, Rakul Preet Singh in the lead is a long-awaited alien movie written and directed by R. Ravikumar of Indru Netru Naalai (2015) fame. The movie is India's first alien feature to have 4500+ VFX shots  (provided by Hollywood's famous CG company Phantom FX), and previously we had reported that the movie is gearing up for a Diwali, 2023 release. This update has now been officially confirmed with a new poster featuring Sivakarthikeyan and his alien buddy. 

Ayalaan has AR Rahman for music and is jointly produced by 24 AM Studios, KJR Studios. The movie is scheduled to release in Tamil, Telugu (dubbed), Malayalam (dubbed), Hindi (dubbed) and Kannada (dubbed) languages.
