Jayam Ravi starrer Agilan - a movie that promises to feature the actor as the 'King of the Indian ocean', is an action drama that has been awaiting release for a while now. The film was scheduled to hit theater screens on September 15, 2022, but for reasons best known to the makers, Agilan did not come out on the said date. Latest we hear, Agilan will hit theater screens on March 10, 2023, with an official announcement on the same awaited.

Also starring Priya Bhavani Shankar as a badass lady cop, Agilan is expected to have a trailer release before that Friday. The movie is directed by N Kalyana Krishnan and will see Jayam Ravi as a ruthless harbour gangster. Agilan is produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment and has Sam CS for music.
