Written and directed by H. Vinoth, Thunivu is a heist action drama starring actor Ajith Kumar in the lead that released in theaters for Pongal on January 11, 2023. The film has been having a dream run at the box-office in Tamil Nadu and beyond and had entered profit-zone in several new markets for its lead star. Currenrly Thunivu is on its 10th day of run in movie theaters, and buzz at this point is that the movie's digital premiere is on its way soon. 

Thunivu's OTT date is said to be February 10, 2023 [Friday] on the Netflix streaming platform. An official announcement on the same is however awaited. Also starring Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, John Kokken, GM Sundar, Bucks among others, Thunivu follows the story of why a crazy criminal mastermind inserts himself into an ongoing bank heist, for an ulterior motive. The movie comes with a runtime of 145.48 minutes.

[Update: February 3, 2023] Netflix has officially announced Thunivu OTT release date to be February 8, 2023 i.e. coming Wednesday.
