The first trailer of Ajith starrer Thunivu dropped at 7 PM today, and the video gave viewers a good glimpse into what is in the offing with H. Vinoth's bank heist entertainer. Actors Ajith, Manju Warrier, Samuthirakani, Prem, Bucks, Ajay and several others were seen in this Thunivu trailer, and the portion where Ajith takes a bank hostage and has both the police and politicians at the edge of the seat ended up being most talked about.

This is because Ajith's 'arch nemesis' [atleast that is how ardent fans would have one believe] Vijay, also starred in a heist entertainer titled Beast this year, which had similar tropes of a negotiation with the system. While this may be canon to any heist/hostage movie, many have drawn parallels between the aesthetics of both films.
