Actor Vijay's upcoming movie Varisu recently created history by having its advance bookings opened a month prior to its release, in the UK. Now, Australia and New Zealand are following suit, and Perth Movies has announced that Varisu/Vaarasudu reservations can be made beginning next week.

Varisu is scheduled to release on January 12, 2022 and is a production venture of Dil Raju's Sri Venkateswara Creations.  The movie written and directed by Vamshi Paidipally is said to revolve around a happy-go-lucky character named Vijay Rajendran, for whom things change once his foster father dies unexpectedly.
