Actress Rashmika Mandanna who is teaming up for the first time with actor Vijay on Varisu [Vaarasudu in Telugu], has shared a new still with her co-star from the film sets. The behind-the-scenes image was shared on Rashmika's Instagram stories and has already gone viral among fans. 

Varisu was recently in the news for making big money on non-theatrical rights such as audio, OTT, satellite, foreign license and Hindi dubbing. The movie's estimated earnings from these alone are said to touch a whopping Rs. 150 Cr. [breakdown here]. 

Varisu marks director Vamshi Paidipally's Tamil debut and is produced by Sri Venkateswara Creations. The movie is scheduled to release in theaters for Pongal/Sankranthi in January, 2023.
