The film success had a great impact on everyone involved in the film. Actor and producer Kamal Haasan had biggest impact among all. As a producer, he got into profit zone even before the films theatrical release by selling all language film rights to OTT platform which had recovered film's full production cost. His film with Shankar, "Indian 2" which was put on hold citing financial issues has been taken over by Red Giant Movies (who had also distributed Vikram) to resume the film.
