Suriya 42 (tentative title) is an upcoming period drama that is actor Suriya's first collaboration with director Siva. The movie is mounted on a big budget and has been planned to release in 10 pan-Indian languages. Previously we had reported that Bollywood actress Disha Patani (alias Paatni) will be making her Tamil debut with Suriya 42.

Film's producers Studio Green have now officially confirmed her casting while also revealing that Yogi Babu, Kovai Sarala, Anand Raj and Redin Kingsley are also on board [Listed under the newly unveiled pooja video]. Shooting of Suriya 42 is currently underway and a supposed shooting spot image of Disha Patani has already managed to sneak online. It is suggested that the team has hired over 200 body builders for a 20-day shoot.
