Gautham Menon directed Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadhu (VTK) starring Silambarasan TR in the lead is all set to release in theaters on September 15, 2022. While the movie is gearing up for a trailer/audio launch on September 2, 2022, some new stills from the movie have now been unveiled by producers Vels Film International. 

Promotional material for VTK has indicated that the movie will be a strong shift from Menon's usual style of films. Simbu plays a blue-collared character named Muthuveeran and actress Siddhi Idnani in her first Tamil film role plays Paavai, Muthu's love-interest. 

VTK has AR Rahman for music and also stars Raadhika Sarathkumar in the role of Muthu's mother, Aangeline Abraham as Muthus' sister, The Family Man series fame Neeraj Madhav as Sridharan and Siddique among others.
