3.4 years after first announcing the collaboration, actor Suriya is all set to finally begin shooting with director Siva. Previously we had reported that this film, which is tentatively titled Suriya 42 will go on floors in August 22, 2022. Latest we hear on Surya 42 is that, Music director Devi Sri Prasad has been roped into score music for the film. 

This will be 5th time DSP will be working for Suriya after Mayavi, Aaru, Singam 1 and Singam 2. Suriya 42 is touted to be a joint production venture of Studio Green and UV Productions. An official announcement on the rest of the cast and crew is awaited.
