JR 30 (tentative title) is actor Jayam Ravi's 30th film with director M. Rajesh of Siva Manasula Sakthi (2009), Boss Engira Bhaskaran (2010), Oru Kal Oru Kannadi (2012) fame. The movie produced by Screen Scene Entertainment was officially launched with a pooja ceremony on August 3, 2022 and stills from the event were shared by the makers on August 5, 2022.

Priyanka Mohan plays female lead in JR 30 which is touted to be an entertainer based on brother-sister bond. The film is all set to begin shooting at Vagamond, Kerala from August 12, 2022 and has Harris Jayaraj for music.
