Natchathiram Nagargiradhu is filmmaker Pa. Ranjith's sixth movie as director and the movie stars Kalaiyarasan, Dushara Vijayan, Kalidas Jayaram and Sarpatta Parambarai fame Shabeer Kallarakkal in key roles. The makers have officially confirmed that the film will be releasing in theaters first and a release date poster has also been unveiled by the team. The movie is scheduled to release on August 31, 2022.

Natchathiram Nagargiradhu also stars Hari Krishnan, Vinoth, Subathra Robert, Regin Rose, Damu, Gnanaprasad, Vinsu Rachel Sam, Arjun Prabhakaran, Uthaiya Surya, Stephen Raj, Sherin Celin Mathew and Manisa Tait. The film's technical crew includes Kishor Kumar for cinematography and Tenma for music.
