Sardar is an upcoming PS Mithran directorial starring actor Karthi in lead dual roles. The movie touted to be a spy action thriller will see Bollywood actor Chunky Pandey [better known these days as actress Ananya Pandey's father] in a villain role and the team shot his solo portions in transcontinental countries like Azerbaijan and Georgia back in May.

A quick glace at Chunky's Instagram page reveals that filming was done in the capital cities of Baku and Tblisi, apparently at the Parliment building, Congress Convention Centre of the former and at a huge hydro dam near the latter. Now, it has been revealed that team Sardar has begun their next schedule of shooting in these countries.

Chunky Pandey will be shooting his combination scenes with Karthi this time around and Sardar will mark his debut in Tamil. S Lakshman Kumar of Prince Pictures is producing Sardar, which has GV Prakash for music and also stars Raashi Khanna, Laila, Rajisha Vijayan, Munishkanth, Murali Sharma, Ilavarasu among others.
