Actor Sivakarthikeyan starrer DON is scheduled to release in theaters on May 13, 2022 and the actor took to twitter today to officially confirm that the film's trailer will be launched with an event, as reported previously. DON is co-produced by Sivakarthikeyan and we hear the movie has made table profit, even before its release.

Majority of the pre-release revenue is said to have come from DON's Tamil Nadu theatrical rights sale to Red Giant Movies, and from digital and satellite rights which are with Netflix OTT platform and Kalaignar TV channel respectively. 

DON is also produced by Lyca Productions and directed by debutant Cibi Chakravarthy. The film has Anirudh for music and also stars Priyanka Mohan, SJ Suryah among others.
