MovieCrow was the first one to report that Sivakarthikeyan starrer DON is getting postponed from March 25 to May 12 and while an official announcement on this release date is still awaited, it has now been more or less confirmed that DON will be hitting theaters worldwide on May 12, 2022 (Thursday).

The distribution rights of the movie has been picked up by Udhayanidhi Stalin's Red Giant Movies. Previously we had reported that the satellite, OTT rights of the movie is most likely to end up with Zee. Recent updates however suggest that Kalaignar TV and Netflix have bagged the respective rights. 

DON is directed by debutant Cibi Chakravarthy and also stars Priyanka Mohan, SJ Suryah among others. The film is produced by Lyca and Sivakarthikeyan Productions and has Anirudh for music.
