AK 62 (tentative title) is one of actor Ajith's upcoming projects and it is a Vignesh Shivan directorial. AK 62 produced by Lyca Productions is all set to begin from 2022 year end and recently Vijay Sethupathi was buzzed to play villain in the movie. However Vijay Sethupathi has denied the development and said that when such reports first surfaced, he directly cleared it out with his Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal director Vignesh Shivan.

Apparently Vijay Sethupathi asked Vignesh if he was planning on casting him as the AK 62 villain and the director said that the actor will always be a hero in his movies. AK 62 has Anirudh for music and plans on releasing by 2023-mid.
