Thalapathy 66 (tentative title) is actor Vijay's upcoming movie with director Vamshi Paidipally which has begun shooting and is awaiting next schedule in May, 2022. Recently we had reported that actor Shaam has been roped in to play one of Vijay's brothers in the movie and now the 12 B star has confirmed his presence in Thalapathy 66.

Thalapathy 66 is a production venture of Sri Venkateswara Creations and has Rashmika Mandanna playing female lead. SS Thaman is composing music for this project which also has actor Sarathkumar in an important role (supposedly Vijay's father).
