Malaysia, where Tamil population is present in significant number is gearing up to catch Vijay in theaters after a 3 year gap [Master did not release in the country due to COVID restrictions]. Beast, which has been censored PG-13 in Malaysia will be releasing on April 13, 2022 in 140 theaters and 300+ screens albiet with a 5 minute shorter runtime [The Malaysia runtime of Beast is 2 hour 30 minutes i.e. 150 minutes]. This is the biggest release for a Vijay movie in the country.
