Actor Vijay's decade-long hiatus of no TV interviews came to an end at 9 PM this evening when Vijayudan Nerukku Ner was aired and streamed live on Sun TV and Sun Nxt OTT platform respectively. While the 'Thalapathy' (as he is fondly known by fans) spoke about a lot of things that has the fans and viewers buzzing at the moment, one mention was about music composer Anirudh as well.

A visibly excited Vijay was all praises when he took Anirudh's topic and said that whatever the young musician touches, turns out to be surprises. "Anirudh is currently at his peak. Whatever he touches suprises...Beast Mode was one such song that left me in awe..At the same time, you will never find Anirudh relaxing just because he has given good (music). He is constantly working to better (his game)."

Vijayudan Nerukku Ner was part of the promotions for Vijay's upcoming movie Beast which has music by Anirudh. The actor sat down for an interview with his film's director Nelson Dilipkumar as the team couldn't pull an audio launch for expectant fans.

Beast is produced by Sun Pictures and releases in theaters on April 13, 2022 in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi (as RAW), Kannada and Malayalam. Keep watching this space for more interesting snippets from the interview.
