Thalapathy 66 (tentative title) is an officially announced upcoming project of actor Vijay, which is a production venture of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Previously we had reported that Rashmika Mandanna was one of the heroines in contention to play female lead, and marking her birthday today the Pushpa actress has been officially welcomed on-board.

Thalapathy 66 is a Vamshi Paidipally directorial and the movie is said to be going on floors tomorrow i.e. April 6, 2022. Filming is expected to begin with a song shoot, composed by S.S. Thaman.
