Actor Vijay is currently gearing up for the release of his upcoming hostage thriller Beast, which releases worldwide in theaters on April 13, 2022. Breaking tradition, Vijay is sitting for a TV interview as a part of the film's promotions and a new promo video for this interview suggests he will be talking about why he hasn't done an interview in over 10 years.

If one may recall, Vijay has an infamous incident in his career where a video of him loosing cool over a cleaner went viral in 2009. The premise was a press event post the release of Prabhu Deva directed Villu, which had not done well at the box-office. Both Prabhu Deva and Vijay were questioned about the outcome of the movie and Vijay while answering, was getting interrupted by the sounds of the floor being mopped at the wedding hall they were gathered.

Mid-answer, Vijay lost his temper quite bad much to the shock of Prabhu Deva too and all this was captured on video. In his current interview for Beast, Vijay is questioned by his Beast director Nelson Dilipkumar about why he stayed away from interviews for 10 years and Vijay is seen bringing up 'an incident' from a decade plus ago.

Many have presumed this to be a reference to the Villu press meet incident and it remains to be seen if Vijay will indeed be talking about the same. The Vijay-Nelson interview airs on Sun TV on April 10, 2022 (Sunday) at 9 PM.
