AK 61 (tentative title) is actor Ajith's third consecutive movie with director H. Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor and it is touted to be a heist action thriller surrounding a bank robbery. Ajith is expected to be seen playing a grey-shaded role, and will be seen in two different looks in the movie.

Latest on AK 61 is that the movie comes with no sub-plots and interestingly not much action either. Reportedly, this will be the first film in Ajith's career with no fight scenes. AK 61 plans on beginning in April, 2022 and huge sets for the film's shooting have been put up at Ramoji Film city at Hyderabad.

Ajith is on a weight loss journey for the movie and his recent clicks during a temple visit at Kerala is currently going viral on the internet. Word also has it that AK 61 plans on wrapping shooting within 3 months and release by Diwali, 2022.
