While it was known that Valimai is gearing up for an OTT premiere on Zee 5 in all languages, it was officially announced on Sunday (as reported earlier) that the film will start streaming from March 25, 2022. The Zee group first revealed the date via a 10,000 sq feet poster, which was specially created at the YMCA ground at Chennai for Valimai's digital release date reveal.

This was followed by the Zee group's social media handles confirming Valimai's OTT release date. Directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor, Zee Studios, Valimai is an action entertainer and also stars Karthikeya Gummakonda, Huma Qureshi among others. The film has Yuvan Shankar Raja for music.
