KGF: Chapter 2, the sequel to 2018 Kannada period action film KGF: Chapter 1 is all set to release in theaters on April 14, 2022 (Thursday) and today the film had its first single release called Toofan. KGF 2 is scheduled to release in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi and in all languages lyric video for the number was unveiled by T-Series, Lahari Music - film's music labels.

The Tamil version of Toofan is crooned by Deepak Blue, Govind Prasad,  Yogisekar, Mohan Krishna, Santhosh Venky, Sachin Basrur, Ravi Basrur, Puneeth Rudranag, Vaish and child singers Giridhar Kamath, Raksha Kamath, Sinchana Kamath, Nishanth Kini, Bharath Bhat, Anagha Nayak, Avani Bhat, Swathi Kamath, Shivanand Nayak and Keerthana Basrur.

Madhurakavi has penned lyrics for the song composed by Ravi Basrur. KGF stars Yash, Srinidhi Shetty in the lead and is directed by Prashanth Neel. Hombale Films has produced the movie whereas it is being presented in Tamil by S.R. Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures.
