The highly anticipated audio launch of Beast will not be taking place anymore and Sun Pictures has apparently cited COVID-19 as the reason for not conducting the event. Beast audio launch was planned on a big scale but the Tamil Nadu government from March 3, 2022 has allowed only a maximum of 500 people for any kind of gathering/event. Movie theaters on the other hand are permitted 100% occupancy and crowds are often seen thronging in that space. 

Even for Etharkkum Thunindhivan (ET) - another big star film from Sun Pictures, the production house had only conducted a small scale press release at Chennai and a pre-release event at Hyderabad. It remains to be seen if Beast will have similar promotional events.

Starring Vijay in the lead, Beast is touted to be an action thriller based on gold smuggling and the movie is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Pooja Hegde plays female lead in the movie and Anirudh has composed music for it.
