Sun Pictures produced Beast starring Vijay in the lead was officially announced as an April, 2022 release in December last year. And now buzz is that the movie will be coming out in theaters on April 28, 2022, with an official confirmation awaited [April 14, 2022 i.e. Tamil New Year's day is the other date in buzz for the movie's release].

Beast first single composed by Anirudh was expected to be out in January previously but the team was focussed on wrapping its patchwork and Vijay's dubbing portions. Now we hear, the song (more about it here) will be out in February, 2022. 

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Beast is touted to be a movie on gold smuggling and the plot is said to revolve around a day's event. Other timeline portions are also included and the film will showcase director Selvaraghavan in a politician's role.
