Director Hari's upcoming rural entertainer with Arun Vijay is titled Yaanai and it is now being said that the movie plans to release in February or March, 2022. Some talks in the industry also suggest that director Hari is trying his level best to bring out Yaanai alongside Suriya's Etharkkum Thunindhavan which is scheduled to release in theaters on February 4, 2021. 

To the unversed, Yaanai was originally written for Suriya but director Hari and the actor had a fall-out presumably over the script. DrumStick Productions is currently backing the Arun Vijay starrer Yaanai which also stars Priya Bhavani Shankar, Radikaa Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu, Samuthirakani, Ammu Abhirami among others and has GV Prakash for music.
