Last month the Tamil Nadu government revealed its plan to lauch 'Valimai cement', an initiative to sell cement at subsidized prices through the state PSU Tamil Nadu Cement Corporation (TANCEM). The DMK government aims to sell 30,000 tonnes monthly in an attempt to tackle the shooting cement prices and earlier today, the CMO's office tweeted that the sale of this high quality (higher than TANCEM's Arasu cement) 'Valimai' cement was launched today. 

Valimai also happens to be the title of star-actor Ajith's highly awaited movie, which is jointly produced by Boney Kapoor and Zee Studios. Hence the hashtag tweeted to mark the cement launch coincided with the movie's and Ajith fans couldn't keep calm.

Valimai directed by H. Vinoth is scheduled to release in theaters for Pongal in January, 2022.
