Last week, music S.Thaman fuelled the buzz about him composing for Thalapathy 66 by sending out this tweet.

Now, word has it that an official announcement on Thaman coming on-board the Vijay, Vamshi Paidipally film will be made in the coming days. If true, Thalapathy 66 will be Thaman's first with Vijay, who has been in talks to work with the music director since Osthe (2011). 

Thaman came close to working with Vijay in a Sun Pictures - A.R. Murugadoss film but the project failed to take off. Currently the musician is working on a big film (RC 15) for Sri Venkateswara Creations, which is also producing Thalapathy 66. Thaman finally getting to work with Vijay seems more likely this time around.
