Actor Vijay is expected to wrap shooting for his current film Beast by December/January and he has been signed to star next in Sri Venkateswara Creations' production. Telugu director Vamshi Paidipally will be helming this project, and so far composer Thaman, Keerthy Suresh and Prakash Raj have been linked to it, with no official confirmations.

This movie which tentatively goes by Thalapathy 66 will however not be beginning soon after Beast. Word has it that Vijay intends to start filming for Thalapathy 66 only by April, 2022.
