Theaters in Tamil Nadu this Diwali season are going to witness atleast four simultaneous Tamil movie releases whereas the OTT platform will witness the release of one brand new Tamil film.

Sun Pictures produced Annaatthe which comes with a major star backing of Rajinikanth's is one of the theatrical releases and though the production house has not updated any release date changes, there have been murmurs about the film getting postponed. 

Nevertheless, the Diwali 2021 roster of Tamil movie releases looks like this at the moment:

1. Jai Bhim (Suriya) - November 2, 2021 - Amazon Prime Video (Read Review)
2. MGR Magan (Sasikumar, Sathyaraj) - November 4, 2021 - Disney Plus Hotstar
3. Annaatthe (Rajinikanth, Nayanthara) - November 4, 2021 (Read Review)
4. Enemy (Vishal, Arya) - November 4, 2021
5. Eternals (Tamil dubbed) - November 5, 2021

• Maanaadu (Silambarasan TR, Kalyani Priyadarshan) - Postponed to November 25, 2021
• Vaa Deal (Arun Vijay) - Not Releasing
