Valimai is actor Ajith's upcoming movie which is directed by H. Vinoth and gearing up to hit theater screens for Pongal in January, 2022. Valimai was in production for longer than expected and because of the travel restrictions caused by the global pandemic, the team had to wait to shoot a bike sequence abroad. 

This bike sequence is said to be a main highlight in Valimai and recently producer Boney Kapoor opened up about the same to The Hindu. He was quoted as saying,

"We waited for over a year to shoot this six-day-long sequence. Ajith was most excited about it, and we did not want to compromise on its quality. We roped in one of the best stunt teams from Russia, and shot the sequence in a place 300 miles from Moscow. Many locals from that little town came along to greet Ajith on the set."

Valimai has Huma Qureshi playing female lead and Yuvan Shankar Raja for music. Actor Karthikeya plays villain in this movie, co-produced by Zee Studios.
