Actress Pooja Hegde who plays the female lead in Vijay's upcoming movie Beast has completed the Chennai schedule of the movie and is now back in Mumbai. Team Beast was shooting an invasion sequence at a mall in Chennai along with some other portions, and now we hear this schedule is done. 

Director Nelson Dhilipkumar and team are expected to travel abroad for their next schedule and word has it, they intend on wrapping Beast's shooting by November, 2021. The movie also plans to release in January, 2022, most likely during a big holiday that month.

Beast is produced by Sun Pictures and has Anirudh for music.
