Recently the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) awarded Samantha with 'Best Performance Female' for her acting in Amazon Prime Video's web-series The Family Man 2. Samantha's portrayal of Raji, an Eelam Tiger with unspeakable grief was lauded by many, and this latest accolade for the character earned her a celebration from her fellow colleagues.

Samantha is currently shooting for Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal and her team of director Vignesh ShivN, co-stars Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara, made an occasion out of Samantha's win with a mini-cake cutting ceremony.
