Aishwarya Rajesh's upcoming eco-horror Boomika is gearing up for a direct premiere on Vijay TV at 3:00 PM on August 22, 2021. We had previously reported that the film will also be premiering on Netflix following its television premiere and now producer Karthik Subbaraj has confirmed the same; Boomika will make its OTT premiere on Auguat 23, 2021. 

A new trailer of the movie has also been unveiled along with the Netflix release date confirmation. The U certified movie comes with a run time of 2 hours and 3 minutes (123 minutes) and is directed by Rathindran R Prasad. 

Boomika also stars Pavel Navageethan, debutants Surya Ganapathy, Madhuri and child actors Ayaan and Avantika among others. The movie's technical crew includes Prithvi Chandrasekar for music, Roberto Zazzara for cinematography and Anand Geraldin for the edits
