We had previously reported that Suriya's upcoming movie Jai Bhim in which he plays a lawyer named Chandru, is a murder mystery that highlights the story of a tribal couple Senggeni and Rajakannu, the latter of whom is arrested on false charges and goes missing from the police station. 

Apparently Suriya's character is based on a real life lawyer of the same name and a true legal battle led by him in 1993, to bring justice for an Irular tribe woman. In Jai Bhim, Suriya takes up Senggeni's case who ventures out in search of her missing husband.

While the film is all set for a direct OTT release on Amazon Prime Video in November, recently composer Sean Roldan updated that he recorded a song for the movie with 'Therukural' Arivu with Rajumurugan, Tha. Se. Gnanvel and Yugabharathi penning the lyrics.
