This short reiterates that humour is probably the most difficult to explore on screen. For the other emotions, even if we do not feel the emotion yourself, you can atleast assume the characters on screen are angry or sad or scared. But with comedy, it doesn't work that way. You are either laughing with the characters or end up being annoyed. Priyadarshan's short can be called as light hearted at best. There is a actually a very interesting core about how a student not good in academics can turn out to be successful in a field and how the school that had always mocked him might end up inviting him as the chief guest. I am not sure what was the intention of having those body shaming dialogues in this film. Was it for laughter or was it actually to show the disgusting mindset of even those who are part of an educational institution. If it was the latter, it does not come across convincingly as there is literally no payoff.
