Thadam is a highly rated 2019 whodunit-thriller, directed by Magizh Tirumeni and starring Arun Vijay in dual roles. The film is now all set to be remade in Hindi and Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur will be reprising the lead roles in the remake. The yet untitled Hindi version begins shooting in September, 2021 and will be directed by debutant Vardhan Ketkar.

Thadam revolves around a murder investigation where cops find out that the prime suspect in the crime has a look-alike. The film was remade in Telugu as Red and now the Hindi version is is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Murad Khetani.
