After Maha director U.R. Jameel took on the film's producers legally, the court refused to stay the film's release stating that a movie belongs to a producer. Now the Hansika starrer, which also features Silambarasan TR in an extended cameo is all set for a teaser release. 

Maha teaser will be unveiled on July 2, 2021 (Friday) at 6:00 PM. Producer Mathiyalagan has stated post the court hearing that they are yet to decide on whether Maha will be a theatrical release or a direct OTT release.
