Actor Ajith's next after Valimai will be his third film in a row with producer Boney Kapoor and director H. Vinoth. Tentatively referred to as Ajith 61/ Thala 61/ AK 61, the movie was said to begin and complete in 2 months' time but new reports suggest otherwise.

Ajith 61 is said to be an action drama which will indeed be shot in a quick span, but it will be a lot more than just 2 months. The movie is tentatively expected to begin shooting by October or November this year and release in the second half of 2022. 

Yuvan Shankar Raja is expected to compose music for this movie, though nothing has been officially announced yet.
