A video featuring serial actress Manya Anand has been circulating on social media for nearly a day, alleging that Dhanush’s manager attempted a casting-couch approach through messages. In the widely-spread clip, Manya claims she rejected such advances.

However, the viral snippet appears cut and selectively edited to create a negative narrative against Dhanush.

In the full interview, Manya clearly mentions that she is not even sure whether the person messaging her was the real Shreyas, Dhanush’s actual manager. When she checked with a known contact from Dhanush’s circle, she was told that Dhanush would have no knowledge of such messages.

Notably, back in January 2024 and February 2025, Dhanush and his team had already issued a public notice warning that certain individuals were misusing the name of Shreyas and urged people not to engage with such imposters.
