H Vinoth has announced his maiden production venture, titled Almost Nallavan, launched under his newly-formed banner Aspire Ubuntu Films Private Limited. The film went on floors on Monday following a pooja ceremony, co-produced by Sudhan Sundaram of Passion Studios.

Almost Nallavan marks the directorial debut of Bigg Boss Tamil fame Raju Jeyamohan, who also heads the cast alongside Dushara Vijayan as the female lead and Sathyaraj in a key role. Foxn composes the music, with TS Prasanna on cinematography and R Govindaraj editing. Further details on the plot, extended cast and release date are yet to be announced.
